S&P 1500 Industry Momentum©

S&P 1500 Industry Momentum© is a monthly quantitative price-based analysis of the fifty or more S&P Industry groupings in each of the S&P 500 (Large Cap), S&P 400 (Mid-Cap) and S&P 600 (Small Cap) indices. This price momentum model, based upon Coppock’s Curve, is priced once a month, at the end of each month; it is not a tactical momentum following model. Rather it is designed to be a strategic momentum guide which helps define the market’s core leadership groups as well as to identify which industries are shifting into or out of leadership position.  On an aggregated basis, these groupings encompass the 1500 stocks in the S&P U.S indexes.

This product is targeted to Research Directors, Chief Investment Officers, Portfolio Managers domestic or global Asset Allocation Officers, heads of strategy, analysts and traders at institutional investment firms or anyone who wants a broad and integrated framework for selecting new industries for analysis or for investment ideas. It also defines patterns of deceleration in industries which suggest vulnerability in a portfolio. Components of each sector, industry and sub-industry are identified to add granularity for the overall strategic analysis.
